The
RV and Manufactured Housing Hall of Fame was opened in Elkhart, Indiana,
in August of 2007. The 50,000 square foot facility includes a Hall of
Fame gallery where individual leaders are honored, a 5,000 square foot
archival library, a 5,000 square foot exhibit hall, a 100 seat theater,
a 5,000 square foot "Go RVing – World of Tomorrow" exhibit,
and over 20,000 square feet to display historic units of the RV and
Manufactured Housing industries.
At
the RV/Manufactured Housing Hall of Fame, RVDA of Canada and RVDA of
America together created and host a special exhibit – aimed at consumers
– with a goal of promoting RVDA of Canada and RVDA of America members
and the value of purchasing an RV through active and involved North
American dealers.
